As the Business Development Representative, you play an integral role in the Sales team. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities. You are also responsible for qualifying leads and prospecting through existing business accounts to engage with prospective buyers.


  • Establish, develop, and grow new business relationships over the telephone with influential contacts within Key Accounts.
  • Meet or exceed Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual sales objectives.
  • Ability to understand an organization’s business drivers, challenges, pain points
  • Able to identify new opportunities and pass to the Field Account Executives
  • Align with Field Account Executives to effectively create regional territory plans
  • Utilize and leverage internal technology to manage marketing leads effectively
  • Effective Data Management through internal and external sources such as CRM, social media, search engines, and press
  • Interface with tools such as Drift, HubSpot, Outreach IO, and Salesforce.
  • This individual will align with an Account Executive(s) to effectively find qualified sales appointments by cold calling, cold emailing, inbound leads, social (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
  • Experience with telemarketing, lead generation, or cold calling
  • General understanding of Information Technology and SaaS offerings
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written skills
  • Able to build meaningful business relationships with OpsRamp customers, prospects, and internal colleagues
  • Confident and able to differentiate yourself


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Able to build meaningful relationships with customers, prospects, and internal teams
  • Ambition for a career in Tech Sales
  • Can-do attitude
